This guide will show you how to enable wireless subvendo of pikonek.

Requirements

NodeMCU ESP8266

Coin Acceptor

Step 1. Download the subvendo here .

Step 2. Download and flash the firmware see the image below.

Step 2.1. Select the Serial Port. For example, COM4. Under NodeMCU firmware, select the downloaded Pikonek subvendo firmware. Under Erase flash, select wipes all data, then click the Flash NodeMCU

Step 3. After flashing the firmware, connect to the SubVendo WIFI. Open your device's wifi connection and connect to the "PIKONEKSUBVENDO" wifi name. See the image below.

Step 4. After connecting to PikonekSubVendo, this will open a portal. Note: If the portal didn't appear, open up a browser and type 192.168.4.1.

Step 5. Click on Configure Wifi. Connect the subvendo to the main vendo. See the image below. Under SSID, provide the SSID of the main vendo. Provide a password if the main vendo has a password.

Under username and password, provide the username and password of the subvendo. To view the username and password of the subvendo navigate to PiKonek Admin Dashboard. Go to Services > Coin Slot > Coin Vendo > Sub Vendo Settings to view the credentials. Then Click Save. Note: The username and password of the Subvendo are unique per machine.

Step 6. If successful under Sub Vendo Settings Page. You will view the connected subvendo.

Step 7. Lastly, use the connected subvendo and go to Services > Captive Portal > General, select network port under Authentication and select the coinslot.

Step 8. Configure the Coin Acceptor. Use D1(GPIO 5) pin for the coin wire and connect the ground wire to the ground pin of nodemcu. (Optional) You can add a relay on GPIO 16 or (D0).
