How to enable captive portal

This guide will show you how to enable the captive portal.

You can have multiple captive portal with separate access points, authentication and design.

Assumptions

This guide assumes that you have a network interface with static ip and enabled dhcp.

Steps

1. Go to Services > Captive Portal > General

2. Check Enable Captive Portal

3. Under authentication, select one or more authentication methods:

   1. Voucher - Authenticate users using vouchers

   2. Coinslot - Authenticate users by inserting a coin. Note: Available only in Raspberry Pi hardware.

   3. Enable pause button - Display the pause button. This will enable users to pause their time.

   4. Allow devices to auto-connect - Allow users to auto-connect to the internet if connected to the network. This will resume their time.

   5. Allow devices to auto-disconnect - Allow users to auto-disconnect to the internet if not connected to the network. This will pause their time.

   6. Hit Save.
